This site is dedicated to the memory of Keith Turnbull.

Keith Turnbull lost his brave battle with Mesothelioma, on the 1 February 2012. He never worked with asbestos but was the son of an Asbestos Moulder who unfortunately came into contact with deadly asbestos fibres brought home on his father’s clothing.

Keith was a person who loved being outdoors, he enjoyed cycling, camping or staying in youth jostels with friends and family. He loved feeling the wind in his face and felt very much at home walking in the countryside, his favourite walk being the South Downs Way.

Keith continued these hobbies until Mesothelioma meant he could no longer walk far, due to his lack of breathing capacity. He enjoyed birdwatching and photography, loved wild flowers and and auspiciously the Snowdrop was one of his favourites, so it seems natural to choose a Snowdrop Fund as a lasting legacy for such a gentle man.

Keith will be missed terribly by his wife Judith, daughter Lise, son in law Chris, granddaughters Isobel and Hannah and family and friends.

Donations made through the Keith Turnbull Snowdrop Fund will benefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
